General

DC Painting & Services proudly serves all of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and surrounding communities.

Yes, absolutely. DC Painting & Services is fully licensed and carries comprehensive liability insurance to protect both our clients and our team.

Project timelines vary depending on our current schedule and the scope of your work. Typically, we can provide an estimate within 24-48 hours.

Yes! We provide free, detailed written estimates for all projects with no obligation.

Yes. We stand behind every project with a written warranty. Interior projects carry a 2-year warranty covering peeling, blistering, and flaking under normal conditions. Exterior work is backed by a 3-year warranty. If any issue arises within the warranty period, we'll return to correct it at no additional cost.

Getting started is easy. You can call us at (289) 689-7685, send an email to info@dcpainting.ca, or fill out the contact form on our website. We'll schedule a convenient time to visit your property, discuss your vision, and provide a detailed free estimate.

Interior Painting

Services include walls, ceilings, trim work, cabinet painting, accent walls, wallpaper removal, drywall repair, color consultation, and specialty finishes.

Protection of your property is a top priority. We cover all furniture with protective plastic sheeting and lay drop cloths and protective coverings on all floors and carpets.

We exclusively use premium paint brands including Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams for all interior work.

A single room typically takes 1-2 days including prep and two coats. A small condo or apartment (2-3 rooms) usually takes 3-5 days.

We strongly recommend removing wallpaper before painting for the best, longest-lasting results. Painting over wallpaper can lead to bubbling, peeling, and an uneven finish. Our team handles complete wallpaper removal, surface repair, and priming before applying your new paint color.

Exterior Painting

Services encompass power washing, scraping, sanding, wood repair, caulking, priming, two paint coats, and deck/fence staining.

The ideal exterior painting season runs from late spring through early fall (May through September). We need temperatures consistently above 10°C (50°F).

Exterior paint typically lasts 7-10 years for wood siding, 10-15 years for stucco and masonry.

Yes, absolutely. Professional power washing is a crucial first step in any exterior painting project.

We avoid painting exteriors in cold or wet conditions because paint needs proper temperatures to cure correctly. Most exterior paints require temperatures above 10°C (50°F) for at least 24-48 hours after application. If weather conditions change unexpectedly during a project, we'll pause work and resume when conditions improve to ensure the best result.

Pricing & Estimates

A single bedroom ranges from $400-$800, living rooms typically cost $600-$1,200, entire condo units run $2,500-$4,500.

Several key factors influence painting costs: surface preparation needs, ceiling height, current condition, paint quality, color changes, trim and detail work, accessibility challenges, and project timeline.

For most projects, we request a deposit of 25-30% to secure your spot in our schedule and purchase materials.

No. We believe in transparent, honest pricing. Your written estimate includes all anticipated costs.

We accept e-transfer (Interac), cheque, and credit card payments. Payment terms are outlined clearly in your estimate: typically a 25-30% deposit to book, with the remaining balance due upon project completion and your satisfaction with the final walkthrough.

Project Process

Steps include: Initial Consultation, Free Written Estimate, Scheduling, Preparation, Priming, Painting, Quality Check, Final Walkthrough, and Cleanup.

It's not necessary for you to be home throughout the entire project, though we do need access to your property.

Touch-dry occurs in 1-2 hours. Reoccupy rooms after 4-6 hours. Wait 24 hours before moving furniture back.

Our standard prep work includes: filling holes, cracks, and imperfections, sanding surfaces smooth, repairing damaged drywall, caulking gaps and seams.

Absolutely. Thorough cleanup is part of every project. We remove all protective coverings, clean up any paint drips or debris, replace furniture to its original position, and leave your space looking better than when we arrived. We treat your home with the same care we'd treat our own.

Painting & Materials

We offer complimentary color consultation as part of our service.

Absolutely. We offer a full range of eco-friendly painting solutions including low-VOC and zero-VOC paint options from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams.

For bedrooms and living rooms, we typically recommend eggshell or satin. Kitchens and bathrooms benefit from satin or semi-gloss finishes.

Our standard practice is to apply two coats of paint after proper priming, which ensures even coverage.

All paint and materials are included in our estimates. We purchase premium paints at professional contractor pricing, which means you get top-quality products at better rates than retail. If you have a specific paint already purchased or a preferred brand, we're happy to work with that as well.

Special Situations
